If you want to add a server to your steam favorite list, please follow the steps below. This is helpful if you have never connected to a server, or just want to make sure you have all servers available when you select Favorites in game before loading in. The best way to add favorites is to add one then login to the game, visit a terminal, obelisk, loot drop, or awesome teleporter and bring up servers you can transfer too, then click each one and add to favorites, but if you did not do that and want to add this, this is how:

Step 1

Open your steam app and look for "View" in the menu bar. Once you are here, look for servers and click it.

Step 2

This window will open and give you a list of servers that you have already set as Favorite, if any (You can also remove servers from your favorites here if you want to make more room). Once you are here, click "Add a server" (+ Sign) at the bottom.

Step 3

In this window you want to paste the game server IP (or in our case address ark2.miark.online:27020) and the query port separate with a : (colon) [You can find this information in our #connection-info discord channel (https://discord.com/channels/199546636656050176/856888155130429460)]. Once you enter the game IP and Port click "OK".

Step 4

Once you click the "OK" Button, you should see the game server come up in the list of favorites. When you see the game server, you click on it and choose "Connect", or the server will now show up in ARK when you select favorites from the drop down menu!  If you have further questions, please feel free to ask in an appropriate discord channel, do not direct message Admins to ask for help please.
